Evacuated to le Treport, she became exposed to mustard gas and died on 18th January 1918. Although the plaque was unveiled in the Commonweatlh Cemetery it will be moved nearby. She is buried in the American cemetery at Bony on the Somme. Commemorative plaque devoted to fallen soldiers of the Russian Liberation Army (ROA) also known as the Vlasov Army in Řeporyje district in Prague, Czech Republic. The 1st Infantry Division of the Russian Liberation Army came to the help of the Czech insurgents to support the Prague uprising against the German occupation which started on 5 May 1945. Leigh on Sea, Essex, UK. 26th Mar, 2022. A plaque was unveiled at the Leigh Community Centre on 20th March 2022 honouring the murdered MP Sir David Amess. Born on 26th March 1952 today would have been the MP’s 70th birthday. The plaque was funded by local resident Fred Feather to honour the late MP’s work for the community. Amess was MP for the Southend West constituency from May 1997 until his death in October 2021. The constituency includes Leigh on Sea.
