The likeness between father and daughter is very pronounced in this picture. The Prime Minister attended the christening to-day of his eighth grandson, the child of captain Christopher Soames and his wife Mary. On the godfathers at the ceremony in the church of Westerham, Kent, was field Marshal Viscount Montgomery. The baby was named Jeremy Bernard, the latter name in honour of the field Marshal.
