"The Red Castle", at Hawkstone Park, 1854. Ruins in Shropshire. 'The remains of this ancient Castle built of red sandstone, form a ruin of great interest...There are many curious legends respecting this Csstle; but it was destroyed in the Civil Wars...The dungeon still remains...The decayed walls and the hewn rocky sides are of great extent. You can reach the interior only through a winding passage blasted in the rock. Out of this tunnel you emerge into a picturesque alley of rock, with smooth high walls overarched with mountain-ashes. On the side you perceive a cavern. Prime Minister Tony Blair and his family will not live in the flat above No 10 Downing Street, it emerged today (Saturday). A Downing Street spokesman confirmed that the Blairs had inspected the property yesterday and decided it was not really suitable for family living. But the Blairs could be in for a house swap with Chancellor Gordon Brown as he has more spacious accommodation at No 11 Downing Street (far left). If the Blairs find it appropriate, they would move into No 11 with the Chancellor taking over the flat in No 10. If No 11 is unsuitable, there still remains a choice of properties Stock Photohttps://www.alamy.com/image-license-details/?v=1https://www.alamy.com/stock-photo-prime-minister-tony-blair-and-his-family-will-not-live-in-the-flat-105879781.html
