The film company RKO donated the proceeds of the film premiere to the United Appeal for the Blind. Many stars stage, screen and radio, together with many well-known sports personalities were the guests of their own children at the show. RM2BW24K2–A cocktail party took place at 6 Stanhope Gate, London, to wish good luck to a party of 15 actors and actresses who are leaving tomorrow for a 4500 mile tour of 10 European countries including Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Latvia, Estonia, where they will present three plays.
