(25 Jan 1998) --- Astronaut Andrew S. W. Thomas dons the Sokol spacesuit of David A. Wolf, who has been onboard Russia's Mir Space Station since September 1997. An earlier fit check of Thomas' Sokol suit did not initially meet specifications required in the event he has to spend time in the pressurized Soyuz spacecraft, now docked to Mir. After Thomas was checked out in Wolf's suit, sizing modifications were made to his own suit and it was then verified for use by Thomas in the event of a contingency.
