RM2BW29E1–Sir Oswald Mosley, Fascist leader, stoned at meeting and hospital with concussion. Sir Oswald Mosley, leader of the British Union of Fascists, was seriously injured when a stone was flung at him by a member of a crowd of 8000 when he was about to address a meeting in Queens Drive, Liverpool. Sir Oswald was standing on the top of a loudspeaker van. He fell unconscious and was taken to Walton Hospital suffering from concussion and a punctured room of the skull. An operation was performed. Photo shows, Sir Oswald Mosley being assisted as he fell. The wound in his forehead can be plainly seen. 11
