Captured intact at Monte Corvino in Italy F6-OK arrived at the Royal Aircraft Establishment on 14 April 1944 and was allotted the serial TF209. TF209 was damaged in a crash-landing at the Aircraft & Armament Experimental Establishment Boscombe Down on 5 June 1944. Once repaired, it was delivered to the Fighter Interception Unit at RAF Wittering where it continued to fly until placed in store at 6 MU RAF Brize Norton on 21 March 1946. A captured Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3, DG200, in flight while serving with No. 1426 (Enemy Aircraft) Flight. The aircraft was force-landed at Manston, Kent, on 27 November 1940, after being attacked by Supermarine Spitfires of No. 66 Squadron RAF over the Thames estuary. After repair at the Royal Aircraft Establishment it was delivered to Rolls-Royce Ltd in 1941 for engine performance tests. It was later passed to the Aircraft and Armament Experimental Establishment at Boscombe Down, and put into storage. The aircraft was force-landed at Manston, Kent, on 27 November 1940, after being attacked by Supermarine Spitfires of No. 66 Squadron RAF over the Thames estuary. After repair at the Royal Aircraft Establishment it was delivered to Rolls-Royce Ltd in 1941 for engine performance tests. It was later passed to the Aircraft and Armament Experimental Establishment at Boscombe Down, and put into storage.

A captured Junkers Ju 388 Luftwaffe Bomber, Werk Number 500006. The Ju 388 was the final development of the Junkers Ju 88 series to be built. This aircraft was the last of six prototypes. Coded 'PE+IF' it was captured at the armament trials establishment Tarnewitz on the coast of the Baltic Sea and flown to Farnborough in the UK, where it arrived on September 1, 1945. With the Air Ministry number '83' it appeared in the static display during the German Aircraft Exhibition in October/November 1945, where this photograph was taken. It was scrapped at Cranfield around1950. The prototype made its first flight on 15 August 1961 and went into production between 1964 and 1969.
