Local Coast Guardsman commended by COMINCH U.S. Atlantic Fleet. Coast Guardsman Roy S. Adams, Seaman, first class, of 3628 Botanical Avenue, St. Louis, Mo., has been awarded a letter of commendation and authority to wear the commendation ribbon for his outstanding service in making possible the eventual salvage of a flaming and derelict tanker carrying a cargo of high octane aviation gasoline.
