Farnborough, Hampshire, England, UK was home to the Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAE) and the players are wearing their RAF uniforms. Early dance and swing bands had their heyday in the UK during the 1920s–30s. Bands played in dance halls and hotel ballrooms.
