A manual of anatomy . radial notch {incisura radialis) is at the lateral margin of thecoronoid process. It is concave dorsoventrally and comparativelysmall, accommodating the head of the radius. Medially it joinsthe semilunar notch and all of its other margins serve for attachmentof ligaments. The shaft {corpus ulnce) is tapering and its distal extremity isslightly ciirved, laterally. It presents three surfaces and threemargins. The ventral, or volar surface, is smooth and concavo-convex.
