RF2R8CNCD–A 1945 post war advertisement for Jaguar Cars. Production of Jaguar cars recommenced in October 1944 as World War 2 was nearing conclusion. Sales however were limited to holders of Ministry of War Transport permits. During the war no private cars, commercial trucks or motor parts were made for personal use. The British car industry reorganised to produce vehicles and equipment for use in the war. Jaguar in particular switched to making components for military aircraft. This advertisement lists the equipment being installed in these new cars, such as air conditioner, defroster, demister.
