RME130KN–Feb. 26, 2012 - Perky - The Misguided Cuckoo: Misguided. That's Perky, the cuckoo. He thinks he's a parrot and behaves like one. ''I'm sure he's round the twist,'' when I take him for a walk he rides on my shoulder, just like Cap'n Bones in Treasure Island. We only put him in a cage at night and that's for his own safety. He even squawks like a parrot when he's hungry''. Perky was a victim of the Devon floods. He was found starving and dirty by some Exmouth, Devon, boys and taken to Exmouth Zoo, run by Kelsay's parents
