Diese Flockenblume eignet sich gleichgut als C. rigidi- folia, eine etwa 50 cm hochwerdende verzweigte Flockenblume, zum Schnitt. Die Belaubung ist unterseits weiBfilzig, die Blätter sind fiederspaltig. Die hellrosafarbigen Blüten erscheinen im Juli- August.
