RM2M3NMG3–Unity Valkyrie Freeman-Mitford (1914 - 1948), fourth daughter of Lord and Lady Redesdale. Unity famously supported the Nazi party and in the period leading up to World War II, spent a large amount of time in Germany, often in the company of Adolf Hitler who she developed an obsession with. In 1939 following Britain's declaration of war on Germany she attempted suicide by shooting herself but she survived and was sent back to the UK to recover. RM2RGB85T–Painting by Otto Engelhardt-Kyffhauser from his 'Great Trek' series - Farmer Rudolf Eger. Engelhardt-Kyffhauser was a member of the NSDAP and SS and drew numerous images of war and portrayed several national socialist greats. In January 1940, Engelhardt-Kyffhauser accompanied a trek of ethnic Germans at Himmler's request . These folk were from Galicia and Volhynia (which belonged to the Soviet-annexed Eastern Poland), and were relocated to Warthegau. 120,000 Poles had previously been deported in order to create settlement space for them.
