The building sports a mock Tudor look with dark beams on a white façade and has a permanent canopy supported by wooden pillars. As well as groceries, alcohol was sold – the term 'off licence’ means it was not tied to a particular supplier of alcohol. Signs show it sold beers from Watneys and Tolly Cobbold.
