RM2JCBXGK–1932 Ireland - Crowds cheer freed republican political prisoners - On the 10th March 1932 ,the new Fianna Fáil government released twenty-three political prisoners as one of its first actions. Excited crowds gathered to cheer the specially commissioned bus carrying the prisoners. Fianna Fáil in Irish means “Soldiers of Destiny”. Eamon de Valera started the party and later became its Taoiseach (Prime Minister).
