RM2M6TWJ7–New York, NY, May 5, 2022— National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Hurricane Hunters landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport as part of the Hurricane Awareness Tour. Federal, state and local officials -- along with the press -- toured the planes, meeting the pilots who fly into hurricanes collecting data that helps emergency managers make decisions about preparedness efforts.
