RMH68J96–Conservators carry a newly reframed portrait of Horatia Nelson, the daughter of Emma Hamilton and naval hero Horatio Nelson, at the National Maritime Museum in London.
A lock of reddish hair belonging to naval hero Lord Nelson (right) which was sold for 5,060 at Bonhams in London today (Thurs). It was accompanied by another snip of hair believed to be that of Emma Hamilton. They were sold with a letter from Nelson's daughter Horatia to a contact at the Admiralty, after she burned her son's call-up papers in 1848. See PA Story SALE Nelson.
