RMG59BYC–Queen Victoria's bedroom at Osborne House, her home on the Isle of Wight. The room has been recreated as it was after her death there on 22/01/1901, as part of an extensive refurbishment of Osborne House to commemorate a century since her death. * Victoria was Britain's longest reinging monarch. The bed is decorated with lillies and palms. An alter is set up on the opposite side of the room in the same way as done so by her children to mourn her with effigies of both Victoria and Albert. Most of the items are from the Royal Collection.
