Bellgrove train crash. On 6 March 1989 two commuter trains crashed on the Springburn branch of the North Clyde Line, just east of Bellgrove station in the East End of Glasgow, Scotland. One passenger and the driver of one of the trains were killed. Our Picture Shows: A baby carried in the caring arms of an ambulanceman into Glasgow Royal Infirmary. In another ambulance following behind is the babys shocked mother. The two were separated in the horror of the Bellgrove train accident.
