Marching Along A Roman Road: Seven members of the Surrey Walking Club this morning were to be seen - dressed Battle of Hastings Armour -marching along Fosse Way - an ancient Roman Road between Bth and cirenceser.. It is an experiment to show whether in October 1066 Harold and his men could have marched 200 miles in ten days. The march is being filmed for the B.B.C. Television programme ''Up T Date'' to be shown in June.
