A little brine, scattered on the straw every other morning, will make it more palatable to the sheep, and they will eat it up cleaner. At night, a good feed of clover hay is enough. Feed all they will eat, but no more ; make them eat it up clean. Mixed hay will do, but timothy is poor stuff ; good stalks are better.
