Trade unionists and activists marched from the Working Class movement Library in Salford to the The Sacred Trinity Church Salford where speakers including the Bishop of Manchester, David Walker , called for peace in Gaza and action on poverty in the UK. Marchers included representatives from the regions Trade Unions and members of the young communists. The group of marches then left to attend a May Day festival at Manchesters Peoples History Museum in Manchester.
