A special Catholic mass was held in honor of the California Army National Guard Oct. 15 at Saint John the Baptist Church in Napa, California, with Bishop Robert F. Vasa, Diocese of Santa Rosa leader, presiding. Members of the 185th MP BN, Spc. Donald Logan, Spc. Jesus Flores, Capt. Antonia Ambriz, Chaplain (Capt.) David Evans and Maj. Andrew Hanson, executive officer, attended the ceremony. “Without a doubt, your presence is a great source of consolation to all the people,” Bishop Vasa said. “It lets the people know they are not alone in their struggles.
