Dressed in period costume two students raced for the shore carrying a Union Jack, chased by Police launches, and planted their flag before the official landing could get under way. RME0RA5H–Sep. 09, 1958 - The ''Christian Radich'' visits London.:The three-masted square rigged Norwegian sailing ship ''Christian Radich'', which is one of the stars of the Cinemiracle film ''Windjammer'', now being shown in London at the Odeon Cinemiracle Theatre, sailed up the Thames today from Gravesend, to berth at the West India Docks, for four days, during which time Londoners will be allowed aboard.The Ship is manned by 74 cadets with Captain Kjell in command. RME0R86D–Jul. 07, 1958 - Brigartine Arrives In London: The 117-ft brigantine ''Albatros'', owned and captained by American novelist, Ernest K. Gann, which left New York on June 15th, arrived at Tower Bridge today, after being delayed by bad weather in the Atlantic. Among the crew is Dodie Post, who was captain of the U.S. Women's Olympic team in 1948, and who is one of the few woman navigators over to guide a sailing ship on a trans-ocean voyage.
