2nd Lt. Paul Mellon, was son of the late Andrew Mellon. April 16, 1942. At Fort Riley Kansas Calvary School, he was an instructor of horsemanship. He mainly served with the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) in Europe, where he rose to the rank of major and was the recipient of four Bronze Stars.
