Auf Java fanden wir dieselbe Galle etwas spà ter, sie ist aber noch nicht beschrieben worden. Eigendich ist es nur das Gynoe- cium, das von den Tieren infiziert wird, die ùbrigen Blumenteile sind aber vergrùnnt. Der Fruchtknoten ist zu einer seitlich etwas zusammengedrùckten Kolbe ausgewachsen. Im Innern sind die Saamenknospen nicht entwickelt, und entstehen eigenlùmliche, vielzei- lige, kolbenfôrmige Haare auf der Innenwand, zumal an den Saamenleisten..
