RMMHC27E–Apollo Anton Ono of the United States behind Francois-Louis Tremblay of Canada during the men's 500 meter short track speedskating final. Ono later caused a crash which knocked down Tremblay, near the finish line which resulted in Ono's disqualification. Charles Hamelin of Canada won the gold medal, and Tremblay the Bronze medal. Korea's Si-Bak Sung won the silver.
