RM2HHJ563–The Defence of Lierre This picture was taken just after the fall of the Belgian town of Lierre, which is 15 miles from Antwerp and shows Royal Marines who having blown up the bridge across the River Nethe building a barricade across the road from which to snipe at the advancing Germans.
