In Windmühlen am Rande dier Lasithi-Hochebene, einer Karst-Ebene oder Polje im Osten Kretas auf einer Höhe von rund 840 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel, wurde früher der dort angebaute Weizen gemalhen.
