Village of Port Sunlight, England. The black and white timbered houses on Port Sunlight’s Queen Mary’s Drive, were designed by the Lever Brothers architect James Lomax Simpson. The Leverhulme Memorial and west façade of the Lady Lever Art Gallery are in the background. Now a conservation area, the village was originally constructed by William Hesketh Lever, later Lord Leverhulme, for use by his factory workers.
