More information:

In one hour, you climb by rack railway train from the palm trees on the shore of the Lake Geneva, in Switzerland, to the edelweiss flowering above. Modern or steam, the cog railways meander between lake, forests and high mountain pastures taking less than an hour to reach the summit of more than 2, 000 m of Rocher de Naye. A real headland overlooking the town of Montreux, the Rochers-de-Naye ("Naye Rocks") provide the most spectacular view of Lake Geneva and its surrounding Alps. On a clear day, you'll see the Eiger, the Mont-Blanc massif and Geneva's famous waterspout. There, it will be possible to find one of the most exotic accommodations in Europe, as you might spend the night sleeping in close to the edge mongolian tents. The Rochers-de-Naye also offer numerous activities for groups or individuals, most notably the brand new "Marmot's Paradise" centre. Friendly and curious, families of marmots from Europe, Asia and the Americas can easily be spotted, particularly in the mornings and late afternoons. The Centre also offers ways and means of seeing inside the burrows and earths through a system of portholes and cameras. You will be able to find out all there is to know about the world's 14 species of marmots. A palette of colours and perfumes awaits you in La Rambertia, our Alpine Garden. You can make your own trip around the world as you examine nearly 1, 000 varieties of Alpine plants and flowers. A breathtaking panorama awaits you at the Rochers-de-Naye, with a superb, majestic vista of Alpine splendour and Lac Léman (Lake Geneva)
