Golfing superstar Tiger Woods during a press conference at The Dorchester Hotel in London before hosting a golf clinic in London's Hyde Park. * The American sporting phenomenon, who is the current British Open champion and the youngest to win all of the sport's major trophies, demonstrated how he mastered driving and putting, and told anecdotes to fans. 8/12/2000: Tiger Woods, who has been fined 70, 000 by the Screen Actors Guild for filming a commercial for car firm Buick during the Guild's six-month strike against advertisers. SAG said that the union's trial board agreed to suspend 35, 000 of the fine, but that would be reinstated if Woods makes a commercial during any future strike. "The decision to shoot a commercial during the SAG strike was a difficult one", Woods said in a statement.
