In February 2016, two brand new little tiger cubs were added to the Australia Zoo family. This adorable brother and sister duo were born to Kaitlyn, who became a mother for the first time in 2013 with Hunter and Clarence. Like their half-brothers, the adorable new cubs don’t just have pretty, stripey faces! They’re also extremely important to the global breeding program for critically endangered Sumatran tigers, safe-guarding the species from total extinction. The cubs are strong and agile for babies – we can’t wait to see them grow and learn more about their individual personalities as they eventually join the rest of the tiger family!
