More information:

The Falanga symbol, depicting a stylized hand holding a sword, was used by a banned radical nationalist group in the 1930s but is legal in Poland and other countries. It now serves as the logo of a far-right Polish group called ONR. Tens of thousands of nationalists demonstrated in Warsaw on 11th November, Poland's Independence Day, under the slogan "Poland is the bastion of Europe." Up to 75, 000 people took part in the event, one of the largest nationalist gatherings in Europe. The march, starting at city centre Rondo Dmowskiego finishing at The National Stadium grounds, went off peacefully in contrast to violence of several marches in the past, with marchers holding the white-and-red national flag and lighting flares with red smoke.
