This is a view of the Cliff Palace, the largest cliff dwelling at Mesa Verde National Park, Colorado. It has 150 rooms, plus an additional 75 open areas. The Ancestral Pueblo people built and lived in this and other cliff dwellings in the Mesa Verde area from the late 1190s to the late 1270s. This view looks southeast from the Cliff Palace overlook where the tours begin. Tours start every hour and tickets must be purchased in advance.
