Sant'Arcangelo is the coastal area of the common of Magione, a small village situated a few kilometres from the eastern bank of Trasimeno lake. The lake, nestled among the hills of Umbria, is the largest regional parks in Umbria. Is a perfect habitat for waterfowl and several fish species. There are three islands in the lake: Isola Polvese, Isola Maggiore e Isola Minore. The public boat service connects the first two islands with the mainland. Isola Minore, the smallest of the three islands of the lake, it is a private possession and nobody lives there.
