The third team consisting of ten rowers taking their turn at ten ergometers during a 24-hour rowing marathon in a gymnasium of the Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany, 14 November 2015. Several refugees from a shelter located nearby that have gathered for the third hour of this event are receiving rowing instructions from a coach. The participants will cover a distance of 3078 kilometres in the event, which roughly equals the length of the perilous escape route from Damascus, Syria, across the Mediterranean Sea to Europe. 70 participants will take turns every hour to complete the challenge.
