The artist Laura Ellen Bacon working at Hall Place, Bexley, UK. Laura was the first artist in residence at Hall Place and produced the work 'Course' in August/September 2015 as part of the Watershed exhibition. Laura uses willow to weave her sculptures. The river is the river Cray, which is a chalk river.
