Tate Modern 10th floor viewing gallery of the new Switch House building (left) with Neo Bankside luxury high-rise apartments (right) in London, UK. Residents of Neo Bankside luxury apartments, the high-rise buildings opposite the Tate Modern, have sought legal advice and have asked for the museum’s balcony to be closed to the public. Some of the flats, worth millions of pounds are a little more than 20 metres away. Privacy concerns continue as some of the flats can be viewed from the viewing deck on the 10th floor of the new £260m Switch House extension building which opened in June. Tate galleries director Nicholas Serota has suggested residents add blinds or net curtains to limit visitors looking into their homes
