Surveyors examine the iron work on Madeira Terrace on Brighton seafront. A total of 148 arches are to be fully restored at an estimated cost of more than £24 million pounds. The entire Grade II-listed cast iron structure that forms Brighton's Madeira Terraces has been closed to the public over fears parts could collapse.
