The couple contacted Glasgow Taxis Ltd to arrange local travel in advance of their trip to Scotland. Jack Ferguson, Director at Glasgow Taxis Ltd, stepped in to help establish the local contacts required for the couple to visit the site and meet Archie Watt, as well as waiving the fare for their travel from Glasgow to Strathaven and back as a goodwill gesture.
