Ted Owen, co-founder of the entertainment auction house Fleetwood Owen, talks to the press with Pauline Sutcliffe, the sister of the man known as the fifth Beatle, Stuart Sutcliffe, in front of her brother's collection that has gone on display to the public at Proud Gallery Central. *... in central London, ahead of its auction. As John Lennon's best friend, Sutcliffe was one of the founding members of the Beatles. After leaving to pursue a career in art, many in the art fraternity believe his tragic death from a brain haemorrhage at the age of 21 robbed the world of one of the most promising painters of his generation. The whole estate will be sold as part of a sealed bid auction organised by the entertainment auction house Fleetwood Owen, closing on December 5. A total of 100, 000 from the sale's proceeds will go to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
