Police cordon off the scene following an armed robbery on a G4S armoured cash in transit van delivering to the Santander Bank, Preston New Road, Churchtown, Southport at approximately 8-25pm on Tuesday 31st January 2017. There were no serious injuries but the security guards were left traumatised and in shock by their ordeal. It is not known at this time, how much money was stolen.
