Shirley's record shop is an extension of a bookshop owned by her husband, film producer Kenneth Hume. After finishing her season at the Talk of the Town, Shirley Bassey will leave for New York for a five-week engagement in the Persian Room at the Plaza Hotel. This will be followed by a four-week season in cabaret in Sydney Australia.
