Sculptor MICHAEL CONDRON, from Panfield, near Braintree, Essex, who designed and built a giant Christmas bauble which was installed in a shopping centre in Bracknell, following to a commission by the local council. The 15 ft tall, 2-ton installation, called "Christmasphere" played music, told the time and produced soap bubbles on the hour for shoppers and passers-by to marvel at. But following the end of the Christmas season, the giant decoration was returned to its original owner and creator, leaving him with a lot more than he anticipated. He said: "The work was taken down last week-end and has been in my front garden ever since. It would be nice to hear from someone who wants to acquire it and give it a new home."
