Ruins of ornate old red brick wall, Lady Jane Grey's House, Bradgate Park, Newtown Linford, Leicestershire, England, UK. The house was built by Thomas Grey in the late 15th century. It is also known as "Lady Jane Grey's House" as it is reputed to have been the birth place of Lady Jane Grey, later Queen, who ruled for just 9 days before being overthrown by Mary I and then executed for high treason. Bradgate Park is open to the public all year round and, with its network of footpaths and tracks, is a popular venue for walkers, joggers and cyclists. The park also contains ancient Oak trees, herds of resident deer and the "Deer Barn" cafe.
