Reich President Paul von Hindenburg (1847 - 1934) - Grand Cross of the Iron Cross 1914, exemplar from the order cushion at his funeral in the Tannenberg memorial 1934. The blackened iron core is somewhat corroded, with silver frame, dimensions 62 x 62 mm. Attached to the eyelet and the suspension ring a gilt eagle appliqué of the field marshal's baton.
