Red mill Museum in Clinton on the banks of the Raritan River. Side of Red Mill constructed circa 1810. Large red sided two story building with thin third story piece next to mill race. Wheel in race - now disused. Stone wall separates race from rest of weir which spreads out to the right with pond in foreground. The red Mill is considered a symbol of early America's rural industry and is on the State and National Register of Historic Places. Built around 1810 it was originally built as a woolen mill.
