Queen Elizabeth II during a tour of Abbotsford House, the home of Sir Walter Scott, the worlds first best-selling novelist who penned works including Waverley, Ivanhoe and Rob Roy. The Queen met with Sir Walter Scott's descendants from the UK and overseas including his great great great granddaughter Aurea Williams(86) from Canada before officially opening the new visitor centre.
